Conditions de navigation

The spot works well with winds from ENE, E, ESE, SE, SSE, S, and SSW, which are side-shore to side-on relative to the northwest-facing beach. The water entry is directly on the large sandy beach, with a medium-sized launch area on the grass in front of the dunes.

The sailing area is shallow with shallow water, perfect for jumps and freestyle, but the water surface ranges from chop to small or medium waves depending on the duration of east or south winds. Waves form on a sandbank.

No tidal influence, so consistent conditions. The nearby lagoons in Køge Strand Park offer flatter water for beginners, while the main beach is suitable for intermediates and advanced riders looking for chop or moderate waves.
