The spot of Sjællands Odde (Nordstrand) works well with winds from N, NNE, NE, ENE, E, NW, NNW, which are side-shore or side-on relative to the northwest-facing beach. These cross-shore directions allow for good control and nice waves when the wind picks up. The launch area is wide and sandy in the center, but aim for clear areas to avoid stones.
The riding area is extensive due to the long bay, with shallow (shallow) water near the shore, ideal for restarts. Takeoff is directly on the medium-sized beach, with parking nearby.
