Detailed information
The spot works well with winds from east and southeast coming side-on relative to the north-south oriented beach, creating a regular water surface without significant tide in the Mediterranean. Launching is done directly from the wide sandy beach, with an easy take-off area on dry sand.
The navigation area extends several hundred meters offshore, with a gradually deepening bottom but remaining manageable for relaunches. In case of onshore east wind, the water surface becomes moderate chop, ideal for freeride or slalom, while stronger winds from grecale provide punch for freestyle.
Local peculiarity: the beach can be dirty in places with trash or seaweed, but the space is vast to avoid crowds. Prefer the southern side for a better side-shore angle and cleaner water.
