Sa Marina is a legendary kitesurf spot located in the bay of Pollensa, in the north of Mallorca, between Port d'Alcudia and Puerto Pollensa. This narrow sandy beach attracts a crowd of riders for its constant wind and shallow waters, offering a colorful display of kites in the sky.
The spot is very lively with many practitioners, kite schools, and equipment rentals nearby. The view of the Tramuntana mountains and the bay is stunning, even though the beach lacks infrastructure and a busy road runs behind it.
It is a popular place for locals and tourists for its easy access and friendly atmosphere, perfect for watching or getting started in kitesurf.

Location
Detailed information
The wind is generally onshore coming from the north or northwest, stable and thermal, ideal for sailing in the protected bay. The sailing area extends about 800 meters to the left from the PortBlue club, with a large standing area for beginner safety. Launching is easy on the narrow beach, but the setup area is a bit tight, so equipment should be stored during breaks.
The water surface is flat and shallow near the shore, perfect for learning and progressing, even if small waves form with light wind. The best times are in the morning in spring and fall for reliable light wind sessions. Several schools offer courses from beginner to advanced, with rentals on-site.
Be cautious of the crowd on windy days, the spot is very busy but without major dangers at sea thanks to the large safety area.
