Grosses Meer is a large inland lake located in Südbrookmerland, Lower Saxony, in Ostfriesland. It is a popular spot for kitesurfing and windsurfing enthusiasts due to its calm water and easy access from the campsite and sailing school on site.
The spot is located a few hundred meters from the campingplatz Großes Meer, with a direct launch area extending from Campingstraße, south of the surf school. The atmosphere is relaxed, ideal for a quiet session away from the North Sea.
A windsurf and sailing school is located on site, with a small shop for equipment, and courses are offered for all levels.
