Detailed information
Wremen is a very flat spot with generally choppy water, particularly suited for high tide conditions. The ideal wind comes from the south, southwest, west, and northwest, with a side-shore to side-on orientation depending on conditions. The spot works best a few hours before and after high tide, during which the water becomes very choppy but remains navigable.
Launching is done from a raised concrete promenade about one meter above the water level at high tide. One must descend a few steps to access the water. The launching area is spacious with plenty of room to prepare equipment on the lawn. Beware of jetties that can pose a danger while navigating. The water is shallow and the water surface remains relatively flat outside of high tide hours, offering excellent conditions for beginners.
