Launching is done directly from the wide, sandy beach, which is easy to access. The launch area is huge, with no obstacles, but respect the marked areas for swimmers in summer. The riding area extends the entire length of the beach, with enough space to maneuver even on crowded days.
Tides have little influence on the spot, but at low tide, the sandy bottom comes closer to the shore. Be cautious of fishing areas and kitesurfing schools that have their dedicated spaces. Strong north winds can make the water choppy with offshore current.
Ideal conditions are winds of 15-25 kts coming from the NW or W, side-on, for a smooth water surface at the start then choppy, suitable for freestyle. Avoid onshore winds from the south that overly texture the water.
