Location

Detailed information

The ideal wind comes from SW, providing a perfect side-on for the north-south oriented beach. Usual winds blow from N, SW, NW, NNW, with a thermal during the day especially in summer. The riding area is wide due to the vast beach, but you must stay vigilant on the water.

The launch is on clean sand over a large area, easy to access. Takeoff is simple at the beach's edge, but be cautious of other users. The water surface features small to medium waves, choppy with onshore wind, cleaner with NE offshore. Conditions do not depend on tides, you can ride at any time.

In winter, NW swells bring more waves, up to chest-head high (1-1.5m), while in summer it is flatter to choppy. The best months are April to September for consistent wind. Prefer mornings for light wind and clean water.
