Location
Detailed information
The spot works particularly well with NW and W winds, which are side-on or side-shore relative to the west-facing beach. At low tide, 2 hours before and 2 hours after, the water surface is perfectly flat thanks to the large sandy banks that form shallow lagoons, ideal for launching and taking off.
The navigation area extends over the beach and banks, with easy access to the water on the sand. Prefer the right part of the beach access towards the bridge for takeoff. At high tide, the water rises on the banks and the surface becomes choppier, especially in west winds where small waves form on the left.
Be cautious with south or southwest winds, the current can push north during high tide. Navigation is prohibited in the channel of the bridge. Boat access is possible to explore further without effort on the return.
