Lutjesstrand Kitebeach mainly works with wind coming from W, with good sessions also in WNW and NW. According to spot sources, the wind is frontal in the area, which provides direct and fairly healthy navigation when the orientation is well set. However, winds from the SW sector are often more gusty, making it less clean for seeking a regular session.

The water surface is typically flat, with an inland water that remains usable without depending on the tide. The starting area is reported as large, which facilitates rigging, launching, and takeoff. This is a rather comfortable spot for navigating without too many technical constraints, with enough space to get on the water cleanly.

The spot is suitable for an intermediate level, but more experienced riders also find it enjoyable due to the smooth water surface and easy navigation runs. One must remain attentive to other beach users, especially in June, July, and August, as the area can be more crowded. The wavebreakers are also a point to watch out for in the water.
