Location

Detailed information

Marinella beach is oriented facing west, which favors side-on or side-shore winds from the NW or W, the most effective for kitesurfing. Onshore winds from the south can create chop but remain manageable. Launching is done directly from the fine sand, easy even for beginners, with a wide launch area to the north of the beach.

The water state varies with the tides: at low tide, you can stand for a long time and the gradual bottom is ideal for training, while at high tide, the water rises quickly and the spot becomes more spacious. The main navigation area extends 500m wide, but you must remain vigilant near monitored swimming areas. In case of NW swell, waves of 1 to 2m form, making the spot more wave than flat.

Local peculiarity: the proximity of the jetties to the south requires navigating wide to avoid prohibited areas. Nearby surf schools sometimes offer kite sessions as a complement, but check the monitoring schedules.
