Location

Detailed information

The recommended wind for kitesurfing mainly comes from the directions N, NNE, NE, NW, and NNW, creating a side-on or onshore wind depending on the exact position of the beach. The water is flat at low tide in the inner area of the sandbar, with small to medium waves beyond the sandbars depending on wind strength. High tide is recommended to avoid having to walk a long way to the water. The launch and landing area is large, with soft sand and plenty of space, but care should be taken with the 4WD vehicle channel at the west end of the beach. Riders should get in the water at the opposite end of the beach to avoid the crowd in summer.
