Detailed information

The Paralia Kavouri spot works well with side-onshore winds coming from SE, SSE, S, and SSW, which come in perpendicular to the northwest-oriented beach. The launch area is directly from the sandy beach, with a wide take-off zone but to be shared with swimmers during the day. The navigation area extends 200-300 meters offshore before the water becomes deep, ideal for jumps and freestyle in medium waves.

No tidal influence at this spot in the Mediterranean, the water surface remains constant. Be careful to stay in the downwind area to avoid rocky zones at the ends. Waves form with strong wind, reaching 1-2 meters, suitable for riders accustomed to choppy conditions.
