Location

Detailed information

The bay of Wissant extends over several kilometers, offering varied areas depending on the tide. At low tide, one enjoys a flat to slightly choppy water with long sandy and shallow zones. At high tide, the swell of the Channel sets in and forms beautiful powerful waves perfect for surfkite. The wind from west to southwest blows side-onshore and remains very consistent. It is an excellent spot for freeride and waves, but it requires good reading of the tide and wind. The space is immense, the beach wide, and the bottom sandy throughout the bay.
