Playa El Francés, located just a few kilometers north of Tolú, is one of the most peaceful kitesurfing spots on the Colombian Caribbean coast. This large palm-fringed beach stretches for several kilometers, bathed by shallow waters and a gentle breeze. The wind blows side-onshore (from the right) with good regularity in the dry season. The water surface is flat to slightly choppy depending on the tide. At low tide, large shallow areas become exposed, ideal for beginners and freestyle enthusiasts. At high tide, a slight chop appears, without hindering navigation. The bottom is sandy and safe, and the beach offers very easy access to the water. The atmosphere is peaceful, stress-free, and not overcrowded, perfect for relaxed and safe sessions.
