Location

Detailed information

The spot of Lüscherz benefits from a southwest orientation relative to Lake Biel, making the bise coming from the northeast (NE) side-on ideal for launching and navigation. The beach is sandy with a gradual entry, you can place the kite on the grassy shore or directly on the sand for takeoff.

The navigation area extends over the entire lake except for the prohibitions: avoid the bay of Biel to the east of the Gottstatterhaus-Nidau-Büren line, Saint-Pierre Island, and the Hagneck delta. Keep a distance from ferries and landing stages, giving priority to boats in service. The water is wide and spacious, perfect for freeride or foil.

No significant tide on this freshwater lake, the water surface remains constant. In strong wind, be careful of the chop that forms quickly on this large expanse. Direct launch from the beach, with no major obstacles, but check the protected areas before launching.
