Veulettes-sur-Mer

Nestled between two typical chalk cliffs of the Alabaster Coast, the Veulettes-sur-Mer beach is a discreet and authentic spot, appreciated for its calm atmosphere and preserved natural setting. Composed mainly of pebbles with some sandy areas at low tide, it offers a distinctly maritime navigation, far from the large tourist resorts. The spot attracts local riders in search of engaged yet peaceful sessions, in a spectacular and little-frequented mineral environment.

Location

Detailed information

Navigation takes place in open sea, on a pebble beach highly dependent on the tide. At low tide, launching is technical due to exposed pebbles and the marked slope. At high tide, the depth quickly becomes sufficient but the space at the shore is more restricted. The dominant wind blows from west to northwest, arriving side to side-onshore. The water is generally choppy to rough, with short and clean waves when swell is present.
