Saint-Pierre-Quiberon
Penthièvre Lagoon is a legendary spot on the Quiberon peninsula, known for its ultra-flat water and easy access. Between the ocean to the west and the Quiberon bay to the east, the lagoon offers a unique playground, sheltered and shallow, perfect for freestyle, freeride, and learning. There are many kite schools, and the atmosphere is as relaxed as it is effective. At high tide, it’s a turquoise pool where everyone finds their place.

Detailed information
The wind from west to southwest blows side-on over the lagoon, between 15 and 25 knots. The water is flat at high tide and slightly choppy at low tide. The sandy bottom and shallow depths ensure a safe environment. It’s a perfect spot for freestyle and progression. However, at low tide, the lagoon almost completely empties, making navigation impossible.
