Macapá

Macapá – Ponta do Anel is a mythical spot in the Northeast, located between Barra Grande and Luís Correia. It is a vast natural lagoon formed by the tide, surrounded by mangroves and golden dunes. The place has remained authentic, with a few charming pousadas and a calm, welcoming atmosphere. The water is flat as a mirror at high tide, crossed by a constant wind from the ocean. It is a spot loved by freestylers, foilers, and downwind riders seeking absolute perfection. Here, you sail in a postcard silence, between sand, wind, and golden light.

Detailed information

The wind from east to southeast blows side-onshore, constant between 18 and 25 knots. The lagoon fills at high tide, creating an ultra-flat water surface ideal for freestyle. At low tide, some areas become shallow or empty, but there is always a navigable channel. The bottom is sandy and soft, safe. Access is easy, the wind is clean and regular, and launching is done directly from the main beach of Ponta do Anel. It is a perfect spot to learn tricks or sail with total confidence.
