Arrombado

Praia do Arrombado is a wild spot located a few kilometers from Barra Grande. Bordered by dunes, coconut trees, and endless beaches, this area is ideal for riders looking for a quieter and more powerful spot. Here, the ocean fully expresses itself: strong wind, small regular waves, and a total sense of space. It’s the perfect place for freeride, surfkite, and downwinds towards Macapá. The atmosphere is calm, natural, and still very authentic.

Location

Detailed information

The wind from east to southeast blows side-onshore between 18 and 26 knots. The water is choppy to wavy depending on the tide, with an easy-to-cross shorebreak. The sandy bottom allows for safe navigation. At low tide, some areas become nearly flat behind the sandbanks; at high tide, the waves lengthen and offer nice sections to surf. The space is immense, ideal for powerful sessions or downwind starts.
