The navigation area is more suited for free ride than for engaging tricks in the waves. The launch generally takes place from a sheltered tack or a suitable water entry for the bay, with a takeoff area that must remain wide and clear, as the space may seem open but the useful tacks can quickly reduce depending on the water level. It is also important to check the feasibility of access, as local sources indicate that Bayside Landing is not accessible by water, which requires a land approach and more careful preparation of equipment.

On this type of spot, the best sessions often occur when the water surface is smooth enough to easily head upwind, but still lively enough to maintain control under gusts. Conditions can quickly become technical if the wind picks up strongly or if the tide uncovers shallow areas close to the shore.
