Kos

Psalidi is a kitesurfing spot located on the northeast coast of Kos, just across from Turkey, only 4 km from Kos Town. Once you get used to island life and the tourists (who do not kitesurf), Psalidi becomes a really pleasant spot: the wind is constant, usually blowing around 11 am or noon, the spot is empty with about 10 people (often 3 to 4 in the water), the water is clear, there is plenty of space to practice, and an epic view of the Bodrum Peninsula in Turkey, which is very close and creates a funnel effect making the wind a bit stronger.

This spot is ideal if you are looking for a holiday spot to kitesurf with your family: you can easily combine family life and kitesurfing, and find inexpensive accommodations. It is also a good spot to learn kitesurfing or if you have just started going upwind and want to practice a bit.
