The lagoon stretches for several kilometers, bordered by dunes, colorful houses, and a bohemian atmosphere. Lagoa da Conceição offers an exceptional water surface. Flat to slightly choppy depending on the wind. Sandy and shallow bottom, perfect for learning and progression. Laminated wind mainly coming from the southeast and channeled between the hills, providing consistent power. Experienced riders use the entire width of the lagoon to do big air, foil, or internal downwinds. Local schools utilize the most sheltered areas for beginner teaching. It’s a very lively spot, where you encounter as many pros as beginners — everyone finds their ideal zone.
