Located at the southern tip of Tinharé Island, Morro de São Paulo is a living postcard: white sand, huge coconut trees, turquoise water, and a tropical island atmosphere. Praia do Encanto, also known as Fifth Beach, marks the end of the inhabited area. Away from the hustle and bustle of the village, this is where riders find a preserved and incredibly versatile kitesurfing spot. At low tide, the beach transforms into a huge mirror of clear water, bordered by natural pools and sandbanks. At high tide, waves form offshore the reef, creating an ideal playground for freeride, surfkite, or simply long walks under the palm trees. Morro de São Paulo is above all a total tropical experience: accessed by boat, sailing in postcard silence, and ending the day with feet in the sand, facing an orange sunset over the ocean.

The Praia do Encanto spot is both technical and magical. The east to southeast wind, side-on, blows between 16 and 25 knots from July to January. At low tide, the water recedes and reveals a huge ultra-flat lagoon, perfect for freestyle or easy freeride. At medium tide, the water becomes lightly choppy, with some small waves. At high tide, waves rise on the coral barrier, ideal for surfkite and downwinds towards the Fourth Beach. The sandy bottom, the complete absence of hidden rocks, and the width of the beach make sailing very safe. The wind comes in well across the area, and the contrast between lagoon and open sea allows for variety in styles in a single session: flat on one side, waves on the other.
