The coastal current is generally weak, but there is a strong current offshore that should be respected. Conditions do not significantly depend on tides at this spot. The wind funneling effect between the land can increase wind strength by 5 to 10 knots compared to standard forecasts. Note: kitesurfing is technically prohibited near the airport due to air traffic, but local schools tolerate the activity with a rescue boat on standby.
