In west winds, stay cautious and avoid going too far into the bay to prevent being underpowered or encountering turbulent winds that complicate the return. Launching is done directly from the sandy beach, easily accessible, with a wide take-off area but exposed to rocks on the sides. The water surface varies with the tides: more organized and navigable at low tide where you can stand far out, while at high tide, small waves form.
