The Playkite spot offers an ideal side-on orientation with the dominant northwest winds, which blow parallel to the beach and bring you back to shore in case of trouble. The lagoon is vast, with an easy launch area and a large flat surface for takeoff without hassle. Beginners enjoy shallow water for several hundred meters, while advanced riders have space for freeride and jumps in the outer part.
No major impact from tides on the water surface, which remains flat to chop most of the time. The navigation area is marked to avoid conflicts, with a shuttle boat possible to the sandbanks for the first sessions.
