Be cautious with Tramontane (Northwest), as the wind becomes offshore, irregular, and risky to navigate.

Conditions do not depend on tides, but in strong South winds, watch for waves that can grow quickly. Local schools assist with launches, and the spot is zoned for kiting in the summer season, with limited space on the beach due to jetties.
Local feature: the spot is more exposed than Richelieu to the east, but the West breakwater creates a unique flat/waves contrast. Prefer morning sessions to avoid crowds and unstable thermal conditions in the afternoon.
