The spot mainly works with a wind from the east to northeast, generally side-on to side-shore relative to the starting beach. The lagoon's configuration offers very accessible navigation, with a large area of shallow water that reassures beginners and allows more advanced riders to practice maneuvers in good conditions.
Launching is done from the resort beach or from the dedicated nautical area, where there is enough space to prepare the equipment and launch cleanly. The water surface generally remains flat to slightly choppy, with a cleaner edge inside the lagoon and a bit more texture when the wind picks up. The tide mainly influences the usable depth and the width of the navigation area, but the spot remains navigable over a wide range of hours due to its lagoon character.
