The spot is oriented east and the wind is therefore most often side-shore to side-on when it blows from the west to northwest. The navigation area is offshore from the beach, with a possible launch directly from the sand. Takeoff occurs on a wide beach, but it is important to keep space as the area can be frequented by swimmers and visitors, especially during tourist season.
