The wind works best when it arrives in side-shore to side-on, with a preference for directions coming from SSW to N according to local information and kitesurf sources in the area. The spot is a tidal beach with a sandy bottom, but the usable navigation area changes a lot with the tide, making timing essential.

At low tide, the beach can offer flatter water, especially when the sandbanks emerge offshore. At mid-tide, one often finds the best riding area, with more space to take off and land, while at high tide the water surface becomes more constrained and the current more present.

Launching is done from the large beach, but one must identify the right area based on the marked or locally tolerated navigation zones. The spot requires keeping a margin for launching and returning, as the bay and sandbanks can quickly change the reading of the terrain.
