The spot mainly works with winds from west to northwest, which are perfect side on for the north-oriented bay. With northeast, the wind becomes side off and the thermal runs along the coast for consistent sessions in spring. The water surface is choppy to moderate with west winds, with short waves in case of swell. Launching is easy on the sandy beach at low tide, where the take-off area is wide and obstacle-free. At high tide, the space reduces but remains navigable if the coefficient is moderate. The navigation area extends offshore from the bay, avoiding the rocks to the north and the island of Sieck which can disrupt the wind from the northwest. Be cautious of gusts near the cliffs, and prefer upwind riding by side-on to stay in the safe zone. The spot works at all tides, but preference goes to low tide for more space and less current near the shore.
