The main wind comes from the N, NW, or NNW, providing a perfect side-on to side-shore angle relative to the south-facing beach. The launch area is a wide sandy beach of 1.2 km, with a shallow lagoon for 150 to 300 meters depending on the tide, ideal for waterstarts and jibes.
