The wind blows side-onshore (from the right), generally moderate but steady in season. The water surface is choppy, with regular chop and some small waves of 0.5 to 1 m depending on the tide. The space is large and clear, with a main area in front of the hotels where schools supervise beginners. More experienced riders venture a bit offshore to enjoy cleaner wind and a more regular water surface. Launching is easy, but the beach can be narrow at high tide, requiring some attention during takeoff and landing.
