Pregny-Chambésy
The Vengeron beach, located in Pregny-Chambésy on the right bank of Lake Geneva, is a popular spot for local windsurfers and kitesurfers despite official restrictions. There is a large green space for launching, a nearby harbor, and a friendly atmosphere with a refreshment stand and barbecues. The spot is accessible year-round but officially closed for supervised swimming in summer, and it benefits from a historical tolerance for kiting.
Surrounded by greenery, with a view of the Jet d'Eau in Geneva, it is easily accessible by bus or train from the city. Riders appreciate the direct water access from the stone stairs and the proximity to the Force 5 nautical base.

معلومات مفصلة
The spot works well with a side-on to side-shore wind coming from the southwest or west, which comes directly onto the beach without major obstacles. The navigation area extends in front of the beach, while remaining vigilant about regulatory limits: kitesurfing is theoretically prohibited downstream of the Vengeron-Tour Carrée line, but local tolerance allows riding in zone III. You rig on the spacious grass, water entry is done via the stairs or directly from the sand, and takeoff is easy thanks to the wind that accelerates over the open area. Be cautious of the capricious wind near the beach with gusts due to trees and the harbor; the ideal zone is 100-200m from the shore to avoid swimmers and boats. There are no significant tides on Lake Geneva, but the water surface can become choppy in strong wind. The best times are outside the summer season to avoid crowds and increased restrictions.
