The Fly Surf School spot is oriented north-south, with a dominant northwest wind blowing side-on relative to the beach, perfect for easy and stable launching. The lagoon offers a large area of flat and shallow navigation, ideal for beginners who stay safe away from the waves of the open sea.
Launching is done directly from the sandy beach, with beach assistance for takeoff and landing. The launch area is wide and protected, and a safety boat always monitors the students. For advanced riders, one can head towards more open areas but still with a relatively flat water surface.
