Detailed information

The main wind comes from the southwest (SW) or southeast (SE), often cross-shore or side-offshore relative to the west-facing beach. It picks up in the afternoon with the Fremantle Doctor, reaching 18-25 knots on average, ideal for freeride or wave sessions.

The water is choppy with medium waves, more agitated in case of west swell. The navigation area extends offshore, but avoid the reef shallow outside which is treacherous. Launching from the sandy beach, sometimes stony, requires a helper in case of shorebreak or side-off wind.

The spot is busy with fishing boats and jet skis, so vigilance is mandatory. Takeoff challenging in side-offshore, prefer cross-shore from SW for more control. No major impact from tides on general conditions.
