The wind often works in side-shore to side-on when it comes from the south to southeast, which corresponds to the indications noted for the spot. The water surface is generally more exposed than on lagoon spots, with an open sea and behavior that depends heavily on swell and tide.
Launching is done from the beach itself, but one must keep a margin during takeoff as the area is poorly developed and the shoreline can be cluttered depending on site occupancy.
