Plage de la Grève Rose
France · Bretagne
The Grève Rose beach, located in Trégastel on the Pink Granite Coast in Brittany, is an extension of Grève Blanche. Nestled between impressive blocks of pink granite, it offers an exceptional setting with its fine white sand that gives an almost exotic touch to swimming. Just a stone's throw away, you can reach the sailing center to enjoy a water area suitable for kitesurfing.
It is a calm and family-friendly spot, less crowded on its left side, ideal for a relaxed atmosphere. A dedicated kitesurfing area is available for both beginners and experienced riders, outside of supervised swimming times.
Close to the nautical center, it attracts local riders despite the rocky environment typical of the region.
Médias históricas por mês — não é uma previsão ao vivo.
The Grève Rose beach is oriented northwest, making it ideal for side-on or side-shore winds coming from the northwest or west, typical of Brittany. The water area is flat at high tide, perfect for beginners in kitesurfing, but it shrinks significantly at low tide with many visible pebbles, making launching technical. The navigation area is marked near the nautical center, with a reserved zone to avoid swimmers and activities from the sailing club.
Launching is easy from the fine sand at the water's edge in deep water, but care must be taken to take off in the dedicated area to avoid encroaching on the neighboring Grève Blanche. At mid-tide, you can stand in the small bay, which facilitates sessions for wingfoilers and beginner windsurfers. Be careful, there is no accessible beach at high tide with a coefficient above 80, and navigation is limited by the surrounding granite chaos that requires caution.
The best times are outside the summer season to avoid crowds, and always respecting the rules of the nautical center displayed on site.
