Sarzeau
The small beach of Penvins in Sarzeau, on the Rhuys peninsula in Brittany, is a popular spot for local kiters. Located at the tip of Penvins, it is part of a large sandy area protected from the waves by the Quiberon peninsula.
With its nautical center and kitesurfing schools, it is a convenient place to start or improve. The beach offers a wide space and a family-friendly atmosphere, especially outside the summer season.
Close to Landrezac, it forms an ideal continuous navigation area for long sessions.

Localização
Informações detalhadas
The spot works mainly at high tide, depending on the coefficients and wind direction. The beach is oriented west-southwest, making it perfect for side-on to side-shore winds coming from the southwest or west, with easy access to the water on the sand.
The navigation area extends for several kilometers between Penvins and Landrezac, with a calm and protected water surface from the open waves. At low tide, the space reduces and practice becomes technical or impossible depending on the coefficients. Launching takes place on the grassy esplanade at the tip for onshore winds, or directly on the beach.
Local schools like KKS or Presqu'île Kitesurf adapt the zones according to the tide and wind, with access to changing rooms and showers at the nautical center. In summer, the recommended area is limited between Landrezac and Penvins to avoid bathers.
