The riding area is in the sheltered bay, with direct access from the sandy beach. Launching is done on the beach or the adjacent grassy area, but be cautious of the reduced space at high tide.
The water surface goes from flat protected by NE wind to chop or small waves with more westerly winds. Prefer high tide to have enough water and avoid exposed areas. The safe zone is in the center of the beach, staying in the harbor to benefit from protection against turbulent winds or wind shadow by going too far in.
