Les Ayguades

Les Ayguades is a quieter and more accessible spot than the Chalets beach. Located north of Gruissan, it is a large natural area between the sea and ponds. The wind blows with the same strength, but the topography offers a more stable water surface and easier access. It is an excellent compromise between power, accessibility, and safety. Riders appreciate its huge beach, the quality of the wind, and the calmer atmosphere compared to the main area.

The Tramontane wind blows side-shore in this area, offering a light choppy to flat water surface depending on the wind strength. At high tide, the light swell creates a dynamic water surface, while at low tide, it becomes perfectly flat. The launch area is wide and sandy. It is an ideal spot to progress without stress in strong but readable wind conditions.
