Playa Camarones is a small discreet paradise located just 15 km south of Riohacha, in the department of La Guajira. The wind blows side-onshore (from the right) with excellent regularity. At low tide, the water becomes flat, ideal for freeride or first runs. At high tide, a small regular chop forms, pleasant for long and smooth sessions. The beach, wide and sandy, offers easy takeoff, and the bottom is completely flat and safe. The sailing space is immense: you can ride for several kilometers without crossing anyone. It’s a perfect spot for learning, progressing, or sailing independently in a peaceful and natural atmosphere.
