Trez-Bellec beach faces west on the Douarnenez Bay, which favors west and northwest winds in side-on or side-shore conditions perfect for kitesurfing. The water surface is generally flat with sandbanks and a shallow area, ideal for progression, but it becomes choppy or small waves with the rising tide and established wind.
Launching is done directly from the large sandy beach, wide and easy to access, with a spacious take-off area on dry sand at low tide.
