La Baule

La Baule is one of the most famous shores of the French Atlantic. Its immense 9-kilometer bay in the shape of a perfect arc offers an exceptional playground for kitesurfers. Surrounded by Pornichet to the east and Le Pouliguen to the west, it combines easy access, a chic setting, and infinite space. At low tide, the beach stretches as far as the eye can see, allowing for comfortable launches. At high tide, navigation takes place on a lively but safe sea, ideal for freeride and long sessions facing the most beautiful bay in Europe.

Detailed information

The La Baule spot adapts to all levels and styles. At low tide, one enjoys a vast flat water area on a sandy bottom, perfect for freestyle or beginners. At high tide, the sea becomes more choppy with regular chop and sometimes a few small waves. The dominant wind from west to southwest blows side-onshore and remains quite consistent. The launch area is spacious, and safety is excellent. It is a very pleasant spot for freeride, long walks along the bay, or first independent navigations.
