Corbada
Bodri beach, located in Corbara near Île-Rousse in Balagne, is a 400-meter long ultra-fine white sand beach with turquoise waters. It offers a paradisiacal setting with a gentle slope and views of the surrounding mountains. Accessible by the beach tram or an easy path from a paid parking lot, it is a popular spot for experienced kiters.
The northern part is dedicated to naturism, isolated and calm. During the season, a lifeguard station is present, but swimming is not recommended in strong winds. The small rocky coves nearby invite snorkeling outside of kite sessions.
Spot for kitesurfing and windsurfing, kites are prohibited in summer due to the high number of bathers, but it is perfect off-season with the Libeccio.

Location
Detailed information
Bodri beach is oriented west, ideal for the Libeccio (SW to W) which blows in side-on or side-off from the left side of the beach, bringing chop and small waves. Launching takes place on the gently sloping sandy area in the center of the beach, easy even for loading the kite, but avoid crowded areas in summer. The launch zone is on the wide sand, well exposed, with water edge up to 100-200m offshore for freeride and small waves.
The water state is chop in medium wind, with small waves (small waves) under strong Libeccio, perfect for strapless or wave riding. Stay away from the shore to avoid bathers and watch out for the northern naturist area. No major channel, but the current can intensify offshore during falling tide. In winter, beautiful swells are possible, but summer is prohibited for kites for safety – prefer autumn or spring.
Parking access is 200m away, flat path, no rentals on site: come equipped. The beach tram drops directly, convenient to avoid the car.
