Kite Addicts Spot is a kitesurfing spot located in Nabq Bay, near Sharm El Sheikh in South Sinai. It is situated directly on the beach of the Porto Sharm beach club, within the grounds of the Raouf Hotel, just 10 minutes from the airport.
The riding area is a flat and shallow lagoon, protected between two jetties, making it an ideal place for all levels. The instructors at Kite Addicts Sharm provide lessons in a family-friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
The sand is soft and the spacious beach allows for an easy launch without obstacles or boats.

The wind generally blows in a side-shore or cross-shore direction from the northwest, perfect for the protected lagoon. The navigation area is a large flat lagoon up to waist depth, ideal for freestyle, jumps, and learning, with shallow water for hundreds of meters.
Launching is done directly from the wide sandy beach, with no dangers, and take-off is easy thanks to the generous space. For the more advanced, waves are accessible a mile upwind, but the lagoon remains the heart of the spot with a deeper hole for safe tricks.
No significant tides in the Red Sea, the water surface remains consistent and flat. The jetties protect from boats, and the spot is vast enough to avoid crowds even in high season.
Ideal conditions are a side-shore wind of 15-25 knots coming from the NW. This provides a stable flat water surface for safe progression.
The water surface is flat and smooth in the lagoon, perfect for beginners and freestyle. Shallow water at waist or knee depth over a large area, with a soft sandy bottom.
Currents are weak or absent in the protected lagoon. The Red Sea has little tide, so there are no significant variations.
For the typical winds in the area, plan for kite sizes of 9 to 12 m² on average. 7-9 m² for stronger days, and 10-13 m² for lighter sessions.
