Skaven Strand is a flat and sheltered water spot, located in the fjord. The ideal wind comes from the west to northwest (W, NW, WNW, WSW), creating very stable side-shore to side-on conditions. When the wind blows from the southwest, conditions remain excellent with a regular side-shore effect.
Launching is done directly from the grassy beach, with no major obstacles. The water surface is shallow and progressive, allowing for safe navigation even in light winds. The launch areas are clear and offer plenty of space for maneuvers. Conditions do not depend on tides, making the spot reliable all day long.
The fjord water remains relatively calm with a slight ripple, ideal for riders seeking stability. The spot is particularly suitable for long sessions without excessive fatigue related to waves.
