France · Bretagne
Trez-Bellec beach, located in Telgruc-sur-Mer on the Crozon peninsula, offers a large stretch of sand facing the Douarnenez Bay. It is a popular spot for riders due to its small to medium waves and family-friendly atmosphere.
Behind the dunes, the water sports center offers rentals and courses in kitesurfing, windsurfing, or land sailing. The panoramic view of the bay makes it a pleasant place even in winter.
Ideal for kitesurfing all year round, this spot attracts intermediates and experts looking for varied sessions.

Trez-Bellec beach faces west on the Douarnenez Bay, which favors west and northwest winds in side-on or side-shore conditions perfect for kitesurfing. The water surface is generally flat with sandbanks and a shallow area, ideal for progression, but it becomes choppy or small waves with the rising tide and established wind.
Launching is done directly from the large sandy beach, wide and easy to access, with a spacious take-off area on dry sand at low tide. Navigate away from the beach to avoid bathers in summer, and stay close to the dunes for flat conditions in side-on wind; at high tide, the navigation area narrows but the waves form better for experts.
Share the space with windsurfers and land sailors, especially near the water sports center. In winter, sessions are freer with fewer people, but check the tides as the water can rise high and limit ground space.
