The Tramontane (NW) wind blows side-offshore at Plage des Chalets, making the spot technical but with incredible purity. The water is flat to choppy depending on wind strength, and the launch area is wide. Experienced riders appreciate the speed and quality of the laminar wind. With sea wind (E/SE), the spot becomes wave with small waves perfect for surfkiting. It is a complete playground, accessible all year round.
